How Heatmup operates, who runs it, what we publish, and what it isn't.

Heatmup Oy is a Finnish limited company registered in Helsinki under business ID (Y-tunnus) 3620396-9. The company operates heatmup.com and is responsible for every forecast, page, and disclosure published here. The person legally accountable for the company is the CEO, Veikko Ahonen. Questions about anything on this page go to [email protected].

Forecasts are generated by an automated AI system. The forecast itself and the short narrative summary that accompanies it are produced without a human analyst signing off on the individual output. This page, the cookies notice, and the privacy notice are the formal AI-transparency disclosures Heatmup provides under the EU AI Act.

The pipeline runs in stages. Scrapers and ingestion models collect financial articles, filings, and market data. Each source is summarized and scored for significance and reliability. A heterogeneous pool of predictors — language models, news-trained models, technical models, and a large persona layer — reads the scored sources and produces independent predictions of the form (date, price, likelihood). None of the predictors see each other's output. The predictions are aggregated into a distribution and rendered as percentile bands. A light Gaussian smoothing is applied to the visual so the chart is readable; the underlying data is not smoothed. Every published chart is archived.

The current release publishes raw, equally weighted aggregated output. Accuracy-weighting, where predictors and sources with stronger historical track records carry more influence, is on the roadmap for September 2026. Until that ships, the output is descriptive (what the aggregated crowd thinks) rather than calibrated (what the crowd thinks, weighted by who has been right before). The distinction matters and is stated openly.

Heatmaps are percentile bands. The 50th percentile is the median path: half of the modeled predictions sit above it, half below. The 25th and 75th bands cover the middle half. The 5th and 95th bands cover ninety percent. Wider bands mean the predictors disagree. Narrower bands mean they cluster. A percentile is a probability statement about model output. It is not a guarantee about price.

Past performance reports are not yet published. The model lineup changes too often for any backtest published today to be stable. Formal past-performance reports will be released once the model set has stabilized long enough for honest scoring, alongside the September weighting milestone.

Conflicts of interest. Heatmup Oy's CEO, directors, and staff hold no personal positions in the assets covered on this site, and do not trade in covered instruments. A written personal-trading policy applies to anyone with influence over the model or the published commentary. A full positions ledger is available on request to [email protected]. If any of this changes, this page is updated before the change takes effect, and the affected assets carry a visible label.

Heatmup currently has no affiliate relationships and no sponsorships. No third party pays for placement, ranking, or favorable treatment of any asset on the site. If that ever changes, this page is updated before the relationship becomes active.

Forecasts have real limits. They can be inaccurate. They change daily, sometimes sharply, as new sources arrive and old predictions fade. They are probability surfaces over model output, not predictions of what will happen. The 5th and 95th bands compress more than the true tails of reality and should not be read as worst-case or best-case scenarios. A heatmap is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument.
